UNLIKE THE OTHER CITY COMMISSIONERS, CAROLLO NEVER STOPS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO FURTHER HIS AGENDA, WHATEVER IT MIGHT BE, AND IF HE CAN, HE'LL ALWAYS TRY TO GET BACK AT THOSE WHO HE THINKS DO NOT SHOW HIM THE RESPECT HE LONGS FOR

At last week's commission meeting the hot button issue was the announced effort by Commissioner "Comemierda" to issue an RFP through the Bayfront Park Trust which he controls through his collection of hand picked sock puppets that make up the board, to put some sort of boat marina in the FEC Boat Slip at Maurice A. Ferre Park.

Leaping into action to stop Carollo, was Commissioner "Sellout" Russell, who introduced the following Resolution:

In the days that preceded the meeting, there was a great hue and cry from the folks living close to the park, as well as from the Miami Herald, and from monied interests in the community including the Miami Foundation, and Armando Codina - who I've never seen at Miami City Hall before - over the sanctity of Miami's Parks, and the need to protect every blade of grass.

By the time the meeting rolled around, poor Marice Ferre - who really shouldn't have been subjected to such bullshit in his waning days - was rolled in in a wheelchair to speak against Carollo's effort, only months after the park was named in his honor.

The upshot of the wrangling over whether to support Russell's Resolution, or allow Carollo to run over everyone to issue an RFP based on a proposal that he claimed initially came from either "Europeans": or a Russian who had offered him $5 million to use the FEC Slip - failing along the way to reveal that if it was the Russian, he was being represented by none other than my former best pal in the whole world, Marc "Pay For Play" Sarnoff (TAMS), who word has it might now have decided that the Miami City Commission has turned into a place too crazy foe even him to return to - was that keeping the park green, and maybe filling in the FEC Slip to create even more green space, was the way to go.

And so, after voting in favor of Russell's motion - with an amendment to consider filling in the FEC Slip, the forces of reason clapped each other on the back, and went home thinking that they had carried the day.

The next morning however, Carollo obviously still sulking from being voted down sent the following email public record request to City Manager, Colonel Klink.

Carollo is devious and vindictive, and you can bet that this request is being made in an effort to discover if there are any grounds to go after leases of the PAMM and Frost Museum, because Carollo harbors deep resentment over the lack of respect that he feels that the rich folks - and especially the rich Cubans like Armando Codina -  have failed to show him over the years.

Here is a video snippet from last week's meeting when Carollo responded to Codina's claim that, "The business community is ready to work with the Miami Foundation to raise appropriate amount of funds to do a world-class park - passive park - in the Maurice  Ferre Park."

Contrary to whatever his fellow nitwits on the Commission might think, Commissioner "Comemierda" is not planning to walk away from a deal to do what he wants to do with the FEC Slip without a fight, and his strategic retreat last week, should not be seen as a surrender.

Carollo, like the Terminator, is planning on coming back to fight another day.
