JOHNETTE HARDIMAN, ASSISTANT STATE ATTORNEY AND WARDEN OF THE GIRL'S REFORMATORY WHERE SLEEPOVERS WITH THE WARDEN WILL GET YOU  SPECIAL TREATS, CONTINUES TO DEMONSTRATE WHY THE DECISIONS THAT STATE ATTORNEYS MAKE SHOULD BE SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND REPRIMAND

Johnette Hardiman exemplifies just how bad the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office is when it comes to protecting women and others not on the office's Friends and Family Protection List

The stories that were published by the Miami Herald several weeks ago involving the accusations of sexual harassment and assault against  Hialeah policeman Jesse Menocal revealed that Hardiman, in her official capacity of a member of the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Public Corruption Unit, failed to treat the accusations of the teenage girls and adult woman as credible and worthy of respect, and worse, failed to conduct the kind of proper investigation that one would expect a prosecutor to undertake, implying that the woman were were basically trailer trash because they wre allegedly gang members and one was "bi-polar chronic runaway."

Hardiman went so far in her efforts to justify not seeking criminal charges that she claimed that instead of assault or rape, what officer Menocal did was merely apply, "authoritative pressure,”as the way  to force a 14 year old girl to give him a blow job.

What I found revealing in the Close Out Memo's issued by the State Attorney's Office in these cases was that they were reviewed and approved for Close Out without prosecution by none other than Jose Arroyo, then the Chief Assistant State Attorney, who last year, as a reward for years of carrying Katherine Fernandez-Rundle's handbag and rubber stamping the misbehavior, incompetence and at times outright criminal behavior of prosecutors in that office was rewarded with the job of Executive Director of the Miami-Dade Ethics Commission.

Arroyo followed another State Attorney's office alumni, Joesph Centrino, who had also distinguished himself at the State Attorneys Office by acquiring the sobriquet of, "Let'em Go Joe." for his solicitous treatment of politicians and high profile grifters when he was in charge of the Public Corruption Unit.

Another item not mentioned in the Herald stories was that Hardiman is currently the Chairwoman of The Women's Fund, whose board is comprised of lot of high maintenance white women concerned with the plight of their downtrodden sisters.

In light of the revelations about Hardimon's failure to conduct her job in a credible fashion someone needs to ask these women how they would respond if any of their 14 year old daughters were to tell them that they were taken to a police station and forced to give a cop a blow job.

Would those women go along with a prosecutor telling them to move along because the incident was just the result of, "authoritative pressure."

This isn't a rhetorical question I'm asking because the whole reason for the existence of The Women's Fund is to help combat sex trafficking and the abuse of women and girls.

So, when it's discovered that the Chairwoman of this group has behaved so badly against women who have been asexually assaulted, you've got to wonder just how seriously this group takes its mission, versus the usual bullshit squirming that goes along with not rocking the boat once you've reached the level in society where membership in groups like this are seen as resume enhancers?

What's more important, bitch slapping your Chairwoman before the Superbowl, or showing up for the photo op for the check that comes from the NFL and pretending that?

The thing about Johnette Hardiman is that this incident isn't just a one-off.  She has a history of being involved in skanky decision-making, including the horrendous murder - you cant call it anything else but murder - of Darren Rainey, the prisoner who died after being placed in a scalding hot showe in the prison and left to scald.

I  must admit that I have a very low opinion of Johnette Hardiman, because I too had my own run-in with Hardiman back in 2014, after I filed a complaint against members of the Miami-Dade Ethics Commission for violating the Florida Sunshine Law in a case prompted by a complaint I filed against then Miami City Commissioner Frank Carollo for abusing the power of his office by calling the Chief of Police for help after he was stopped for a traffic violation.

In March of 2014, Carollo was forced to accept a "No Contest," plea, and was fined $1000, assessed court costs of $1404.12, and given a Letter of Instruction to be a good boy, and not get caught abusing his office in the future.

You can see the video of Carollo's plea, and read the Letter of Instruction, HERE.

My run-in with Hardiman described in the story I wrote at the time, and  was centered on the photo showing retired circuit court judge Lawrence Schwartz, covering his face with a Blue folder while he discusses with the other two members of the Commission how to rule on arguments that they had just heard over a Motion on Limini as to whether or not Carollo could use my past history as a bank robber to discredit my complaint against him, ignoring the fact that my past had nothing to do with the complaint that I had filed against Carollo, including the facts that I had not robbed a bank since 1975, and that they were already in possession of evidence, including a deposition from the Chief of Police admitting that he had received, and responded to Carollo's phone call.

Here is the story I wrote after I received the Close Out Memo from Hardiman that mirrors in many ways the Close Out Memo she issued in the cases involving the women and teenagers.

Hardimon it seems, has developed a process for how she investigates cases that she has no intention of prosecuting.

It's another typical It's Miami, Bitches! story.

You can read it HERE.
