Dear Ms. Soliman,

Today is May 1st, and while it is known as the first day of outside screwing, I am not outside, and have no desire to continue getting screwed by either you or Mr. Rotenberg.

Based on the short period of time that it took for Mr. Rotenberg to create 57 new documents when he transferred the text messages he received on his cellphone and then copied and created emails to send to himself - your version of what transpired week before last - you stated in the email below that you would be "re-producing the records" that I requested when Mr. Rotenberg returned from holidays and a conference. The Jewish holidays ended last week, and you did not provided me with a dates for Mr. Rotenberg's conference attendance.

Given that I initiated my first request for these documents almost a month ago, and after attempting yo rope-a-doping me with the bogus Special Service Charge, and then providing me with copies of documents that were specifically created just for me, which excluded both portions of the exchanges initiated by other individuals and also excluded the attachments that accompanied some of these documents, I am of the opinion that not only must there be information that will prove highly embarrassing to individuals within the city, but that you are all engaged in a will act of collusion to keep these documents away from me as a way to thwart my ability to write a story about what I will discover until the issue of whether to grant a new license to the ULTRA folks has been voted on at next week's commission meeting.

So, at this time, I am asking for the copies of all of the attachments to be provided to me, while we wait for Mr. Rotenberg to return from his conference, which given his previous behavior as the Director of DREAM no doubt is based to teaching people like him to screw over the residents of the city for the greater glory and profit of the insiders who benefit from his expert guidance and supervision of their projects.

Thank you,

Ms Soliman,

You do know that there are several programs available to download text messages from cellphone, don't you?  I would think that for the minuscule amount of money that they costs, the city would buy copies of every program, given how text messages are now becoming a standard part of many public record requests.

Mr. Crespo,

We will be producing screenshots of the text messages upon Mr. Rotenberg's return to the office, as he has been unavailable due to a conference and observing the holidays. I appreciate your patience, as we re-produce the records to you. As for the emails produced, they were produced in their native format with all data and attachments, if any.

As for the two remaining points I will follow up with the custodians.

Subject: FOLLOW UP ON ULTRA TICKET REQUESTS

CAUTION: This is an email from an external source. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.

Good Morning Ms. Soliman,

A week has passed, and I think that we need to resolve my outstanding public record requests regarding the ULTRA tickets.

Regardless of the reason, the City Attorney and your office have admitted that Mr. Rotenberg "created" new documents in order to comply with my public record request.

Given that that effort took only several days, I do not think that he, or you should be allowed to claim that it is taking you even more time toprovide me with copies of the original documents that I request, including both the email addresses and/or phone numbers of the senders and/or receivers of those documents, and all of the attachments and documents cited in the copies of the emails that I did receive.

Secondly, Why is there such a refusal to provide me with a copy of the actual invoice from the bus company for the 0,260 it cost to rent the bus for use by the Fire Department? I have once again attached a copy of the invoice from the Fire Department.

Thirdly, as part of my request to Mr. Rotenberg, I also requested copies of any and all paper documents.?? That request was never addressed.

Thank you,

al crespo
