THE CAROLLO RECALL EFFORT COLLECTS AND DELIVERS OVER 1900 PETITIONS, AND IN THE PROCESS FACED VOTER INTIMIDATION BY NONE OTHER THAN MARY LUGO, THE CITY EMPLOYEE BEST KNOWN FOR HANGING OUT WITH CAROLLO DURING HIS STAKE OUT OF BILL FULLER'S PROPERTY AND CURRENT BOARD MEMBER OF THE BAYFRONT PARK MANAGEMENT TRUST

It appears that the RECALL CAROLLO effort has succeeded in their first goal of obtaining the required 1500 signed petitions needed to move the effort forward.

On Saturday over 1900 petitions were emailed to the City Clerk, Todd Hannon, and now the next step will be to verify that of those 1990 plus petitions at least 1500 of them meet the legal requirements.

While that news is sure to cheer those who want Carollo out of office, and trigger new levels of paranoia in Carollo and his pals Commissioner Diaz de la Portilla and Reyes, an even more interesting development occured last Friday night when some of the Recall petition gathers showed up at Carollo's Last Friday Musical Event in Domino Park in Little Havana to pass out water, dance with Recall signs and getting some of the folks there to sign petitions.

All in Carollo's face.

Here are two videos. In the first one you see a guy dancing with a sign, and as the camera turns you see Carollo with a couple other people, one of which appears to be videoing the activity with his cell phone.

In the second one, you see a guy asking someone to sign a petition, and then you see a blond woman - that's Mary Lugo - gesturing at the petition and warning the person not to sign, followed by one of the performers warning the person to take care and not sign the petition.

So here you have a city employee, union official and member of a city board that is chaired by Carollo telling someone not to sign a petition, and someone else on a stage paid for by taxpayers.

Welcome to campaign intimidation, Miami, Bitches! style.
