When it comes to the craziness of Joe Carollo, it's almost impossible to make stuff up that would top the scheming and scamming that he spends his days coming up with on his own.

Take for instance his latest foray against Bill Fuller, which I reported on November 21st, involving Carollo's efforts to knock the long-standing Venires Culturales/Last Friday Cultural event on Calle Ocho.

Fuller filed a request for a Temporary Injunction, and a hearing was held on Tuesday of this week, with the judge determining that he would need to hold a formal hearing, with witnesses, in order to properly make a decision.

That hearing will be heard in January, and I suspect that both City Manager Colonel Klink, and City Attorney Victoria Mendez will be called as witnesses - I know that if it were my case and I had both a photograph of Mendez showing up at Domino Park on a Friday afternoon, and then standing next to Carollo's attorney Ben Kuehne, as he made some statements at Tuesday's hearing that might be construed as misleading the court about the way the city operates, and she didn't correct them -  she'd be right at the top of MY witness list.

In any event, that's a January story.

For now the BIG story is that on Friday, Carollo, along with a bunch of other Cuban politicians are going to show up at the Tower Theater for the unveiling of a Little Havana Flag, an event that you got to wonder that if after 50 years of talking shit, these Cubans are going to declare Little Havana an independent country and try to sucede from the United States, while Carollo declares himself the Dicktator!

Not a gringo in the crowd.

The fun part is that on top of this latest example of a bunch of fake-ass Cuban politicians who collectively never had the balls to do anything else other that stand safely in Miami and talk shit about Castro while picking the pockets of poor Cuban exiles in Miami for campaign donations and whatever else they could take from them, now a blowhard like Carollo, who has never had a problem regaling folks with stories about all of his right-wing, dictator pals who fucked over their citizens as badly, if not worse than the Castro's fucked over the Cubans, wants to start waving a Little Havana flag over Calle Ocho.

To help him get the message out Carollo did a deal with the owner of AmericaTeVe - a guy, who Carollo told me during the election he thought was fucking him over the airing of his TV ads because of his relationship with Regalado - this is the same channel that Regalado's "wife"did her Spanish TV show back when she was passing out Keys To The City like party favors - giving him exclusive broadcast rights to air the Friday night show.

The one thing that you can depend on when it comes to Carollo, is that in addition to being a loud mouthed blowhard, he really has very little respect for process.

That's why I sent him the following email a little while ago.

While writing this story, I got word that Carollo and his posse was on Calle Ocho along with a TV crew from AmericaTeVe, trying to get people to say how excited they are about what's going to happen tomorrow night.

Maybe, if things don't get exciting enough - PitBull after all claimed when he was asked a few days ago that he would not be performaning at the event - Carollo can get up on stage, pull down his pants and tell everyone that they're going to need to start kissing his ass now that he's the dicktator of Little Havana, with his own flag.

It's definitely Miami, Bitches!
